Joel has considerable experience advising small businesses and their principals throughout the business life cycle from formation to transactions to succession planning. Mr. Thorp received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2004 where he also received a Law & Business Certificate of Specialization in coordination with the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and theology.
